About Us:

We are launching a boutique, high-end glamping hotel offering an exclusive blend of nature and luxury. Starting with 10 rooms, one restaurant, one bar, and a pool, our facility is designed to accommodate up to 40 guests at full capacity. Over the next 18 months, we plan to expand to 23 rooms, scaling both infrastructure and team. We aim to offer a four-star guest experience in a serene, natural environment.

Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our glamping resort's daily operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, team leadership, and guest satisfaction, with the ambition to grow into a Resort Manager role as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards
  • Report on operational performance and recommend improvements to management
  • Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Develop staffing schedules and handle recruitment and performance evaluations
  • Implement and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and guest experience
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort across the resort
  • Oversee guest check-ins/check-outs and ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Lead and supervise a team of approximately 15 staff across housekeeping, gardening, front desk, and maintenance
  • Manage daily operations, including restaurant, bar, pool, and room services

Skills/Qualifications Required

Requirements:

  • A passion for delivering premium guest experiences
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Minimum 3–5 years of operations or hotel management experience, preferably in boutique or luxury settings
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    Desirable:
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to grow with the business
  • Familiarity with hospitality systems and reporting tools
  • Previous experience in glamping, resort, or eco-lodge operations
  • This role has the potential to transition into a Resort Manager position as we scale from a 10-room to a 23-room facility.
