Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Trainer and Assessor (Commercial Cookery) located in Lautoka. The Trainer and Assessor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment in commercial cookery and hospitality management on a global level.


 

Key Responsibilities:


 

Course Development

    Develop study and training materials (e.g., learning notes, learner guide, workbook)Develop a grading system (e.g., assessor guide)

Training

    Deliver the training to the students in the assigned unit of competency virtually.

Marking and Assessment

    Assess students’ range of skills and knowledge acquired throughout each unit of competency.Marking and grading the student’s progress, including in-class assessment/demonstration, projects, observation, questioning, and work samples


 

Skills/Qualifications Required

Qualifications:

    Graduated in hospitality management and/or commercial cookery fieldStrong knowledge in the hospitality management and/or commercial cookery fieldExperienced in the hospitality management and/or commercial cookery fieldBasic knowledge and skills in curriculum development and training.Excellent English communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently

Salary

Range: FJD 13 - FJD 15 / month
